Closing the loop means you’re constantly communicating about alignment with others: hitting goals, meeting deadlines, fulfilling promises, and committing to teamwork. Did you meet the commitments and promises you made to the people who rely on you? Status changes can occur by the minute, so as you get new information, you’re constantly weeding out and adding to what must get done for spectacular performance. You have to re-connect with your leadership and your teams, reaffirm your important tasks, and verify the strategic direction.
