Tuition: Your investment for this workshop is $99 per participant (per half day seminar) or $89 when enrolling three or more people from the same company.

Registration: On-line registration is preferred.  Or you can print the enrollment form above and fax it to 303-471-7402 or email it to Becca@TheProductivityPro.com.  Or mail a check made out to The Productivity Pro®, Inc. to 9948 S. Cottoncreek Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130.  You will receive an emailed confirmation of your enrollment.

Participant Materials: You will receive an extensive workbook with screen shots and step-by-step instructions for use as a job aid and reference manual.

What to Bring: You will NOT be using your own laptop during the class(es), as there are always connectivity issues, and we want to cover as much content as possible during the seminar.  Laura moves quickly and can’t wait for you.  She will demo all the techniques from the workbook on the large LCD screen, and you can take notes and implement the techniques when you return to your office.

No Substitution or Cancellation Fees: Participant substitutions are permitted at any time prior to the workshop.  If a cancellation occurs ten or more business days prior to the workshop, a full refund is available.  If you cancel within ten business days prior to the workshop, we will gladly issue a full credit for future public or in-house workshops or credit your investment toward our online learning library of Outlook videos.

Refreshments: Lunch is on your own.  Light pastries will be available in the morning and cookies in the afternoon.  EKS&H is kind enough to provide coffee, tea, water, juices, and soda (thank you EKS&H!) throughout the day.

Dress: Business casual. We recommend you bring a sweater or light jacket due to room temperature fluctuations.

Detailed Course Descriptions

Advanced Outlook 2007 Tips and Tricks a.m. class
Discover Little-Known Tips and Tricks for Managing Your Workflow

Are you buried by hundreds (or thousands!) of email messages? Do you spend hours every day in your inbox? If you have a hard time keeping up with your email, attend this critical half day of training with Laura Stack, The Productivity Pro®, a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) in Outlook. Laura helps Microsoft employees understand Outlook (they don’t get it, either)! She will demonstrate ADVANCED Outlook methods with her actual Outlook software and an LCD projector. This is not simple computer training—it is workflow processing—where you’ll learn to use Outlook to get more work done and increase your performance. Even Outlook “power users” will be amazed by how much they learn. To reduce frustration for all, please do NOT attend if you don’t consider yourself an intermediate/advanced user. Laura moves quickly; you might be seriously lost if you’re a beginner. We will not learn to create folders, schedule meetings, create email, or do any task that is considered a beginner-level skill.

Workshop Objectives:

· Remove the attachment from a message.
· Use automatic formatting.
· Make notes in an email message.
· Tag your comments to your name within an email.
· Set a reminder on an email for someone else (babysitting).

Digital Quicksand: Avoid Time-Sucking Habits in a Web 2.0 World
How to Avoid Obsessive Compulsive Social Media Disorder

Like it or not, social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter are here to stay – and it isn’t just kid stuff anymore. In fact, businesses and individuals worldwide keep finding interesting ways to use social networks and other interactive online media to do some pretty amazing things – from building their brands to getting to know their customers.  Where do you stand in this new phase of the internet revolution, which many techies are calling “Web 2.0”? Perhaps you avoided it altogether…or you’re an addict…or you’re somewhere in between.  Like most technology, social networks and other social media tools are great resources but lousy masters. You could spend all day hopping around to different sites, updating your information, and connecting with people all over the world. But how does that add to your daily productivity?

Workshop Objectives:

· Nail down your social media goals and pick a few key targets.
· Embrace third-party applications to automate tasks.
· Avoid counter-productive procrastination behaviors.
· Set up a LinkedIn profile and group.
· Understand the difference between FB profile and fan pages.
· Get into a routine and keep up with it.
· Scan and cull, rather than checking and reading in real time.
· Turn one post into multiple posts; systemize your processes.
· Don’t post anything manually.
· Broadcast your message across multiple networks.
· Create a Facebook Fan Page.
· Use Twitter and Twitter apps effectively.
· Heed the Time Twit warnings.
· Start a private social network.
· Reinforce your message through blogging.
· Podcast with audio and/or video and set up an iTunes feed.
· Tag and share your content.
· Don’t use real time: update your social media while doing other things
